Christina Teply joins the Meadowbrook team as a keen admirer of good design, a life-long plant enthusiast, and an active adventurer in our natural world of stunning wonders. Having traveled extensively during a long career as tour manager of numerous amateur performing arts ensembles, she has developed a deep appreciation for the subtle details that comprise the art of outdoor living. A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, her exploration of Chinese and Japanese gardens, as well as many other gardens in all the other Mediterranean climate zones (South Africa, Australia, Chile, France, Italy, and Spain, etc.), ultimately inspired her to return home to cultivate her own garden and to formally study landscape horticulture and design. She earned her AA degree in Landscape Architecture from Merritt College in 2017, and is delighted to be working in a field she loves.
Christina lives in Lafayette with her husband and daughter. She was a long-time member of the UC Alumni Chorus, and still enjoys choral and classical music, as well as reading, cooking, gardening, yoga, running, hiking, and camping.
